New Chevy Cruze May Be Delayed Until 2011, Malibu Until 2013
New Chevy Cruze One of GM's most promising future models -some say maybe even more promising than the all-electric Volt, the new Chevrolet Cruze could be delayed until 2011, nearly a year after its original U.S. market launch date, according to a report from Businessweek citing sources within the company. Likewise, the next next-generation Chevy Malibu may also be delayed by six months, into 2013, the report said. While GM spokesperson Dee Allen would not confirm any specific product delays, he told the magazine that "the company will continue to review the portfolio and concentrate on what's most important," adding that that some new-car programs "are going to shift around a bit." -Continued And the reason behind these delays at such a crucial time when GM needs to inject its portfolio with cars that people actually want to buy like the Cruze? What other than to save cash as the General is getting ready for an even more thornier year in 2009....

About a week ago we wrote an article on the awesome and luxurious Land Rover Defender 90 Yachting Edition; that post turned out to be quite popular, which is understandable because of the awesomeness of the Defender. Today we bring you the 2011 Land Rover Defender line-up. The 2011 Land Rover Defender gets subtle styling updates, which will probably be only noticed by the die-hard Defender fans. The 2011 Defender comes in 90 different variations with long and short wheelbase models. As cool as the Defender is on the outside, on the inside it’s a different story. The Defender is powered by a “not so awesome” 2.4 liter diesel engine that produces a wimpy 120 horsepower and 251 pound-feet of torque. The horsepower numbers are pretty depressing considering how tough the Defender is but I guess the torque numbers some-what make up for it. The diesel engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and it comes with permanent four-wheel drive. As expected, this heavy beast is pretty slo...
